BMEC qualifications are focused on vocationally relevant areas of work. It is well recognised that assessment of vocational programmes at this level is best undertaken via work-based, continuous assessment rather than by formal time-constrained examinations. Within BMEC qualifications, each unit is assessed by an assignment, usually in the form of a business report or case study.
When a student has registered with BMEC, assignment specifications for the appropriate units will be sent to the Centre for distribution. The Centre will ensure that the student receives all assignments for the given programme. Students are encouraged to spread completion of these assignments over a full academic year.
